There are many ways to give:
- One-time Donations
- Monthly Recurring Gifts
- Memorial or Honorarium Donations
- Planned Giving
Volunteer with Heartland ILC
Volunteers are the heart of our organization, making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and in their communities. Heartland ILC has many volunteer opportunities from events to office support, and more:
Transition Support: Our transition program helps individuals move back into their homes. Volunteers help with tasks like cleaning and preparing empty homes, yard work and basic maintenance, and moving furniture and household items.
Special Events: Support our rummage sales, fundraisers, and cleanup events. Volunteers can also help with disability awareness education and events
Office Support: HILC needs help with tasks such as filing and shredding, which require keen attention to detail.
Whether you have a few hours per month or you can help once a year, we can find a way for you to contribute that fits your interests.
Become a Board Member
The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding Heartland ILC. The board sets strategic direction, provides oversight, supports fundraising, and helps ensure weโre meeting our mission.
Weโre looking for potential board members who live in Franklin, Gasconade, or Maries County, and:
- Are passionate about working on behalf of individuals with disabilities.
- Have a disability and successfully navigate everyday life.
- Can contribute strategic thinking skills to HILC.
- Are willing to attend board meetings held on the third Monday of each month in Owensville.
